CLOUD COMMITMENT ADVISORY
HOW IT WORKS

How our cloud commitment negotiation works.

A commitment arrives vast and shapeless, mostly air. This is how our cloud commitment negotiation works: we apply pressure in five steps. The waste burns off, the number tightens, and what remains is dense, precise, and defensible. You watch the cloud condense into its core, before you sign.

01

Review

We read the commitment and the consumption behind it, line by line. Programs, terms, baselines, and the savings you already hold. The full shape of the cloud before any pressure.
02

Find the air

We quantify the unused commitment, the overlap, and the lock in. The bloated part of the number, made visible. You see exactly how much of the figure is vapor.
03

Apply pressure

We model the leaner shape and build the position that defends it. The number it should be, with the evidence to hold it across the table.
04

Condense

We negotiate directly with the provider. No reseller in the middle, no incentive but yours. The air is squeezed out of the commitment under real pressure.
05

The core

You sign a right sized commitment. Diffuse becomes precise. The same need met by a dense, defensible number with the waste gone.
THE CONDENSER

No reseller margin. No hyperscaler incentive. Paid only by you.

A short, defined engagement. Confidential throughout. We work alongside your finance and cloud teams, never around them.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How does the cloud commitment advisory process work?

We work in five steps: review the proposal and the consumption behind it, find the air in the number, model the leaner shape and build a defensible position, negotiate directly with the provider, and land a right sized commitment. The engagement is short and runs before you sign.

When should we engage you in the deal?

As early as possible before signature, while the terms are still open. For renewals, the strongest leverage window opens six to nine months before expiry (as of June 2026), so we start there.

Do you negotiate directly with AWS, Microsoft, or Google?

Yes. We sit on the buyer side of the table and negotiate directly with the provider. There is no reseller in the middle and no hyperscaler incentive, so the only number we work to improve is yours.

How long does an engagement take?

Short by design. Most reviews run inside the window before signature and focus on the proposal in front of you. We work alongside your finance and cloud teams, never around them.

Is this legal advice?

No. We provide commercial negotiation advisory only. We recommend your own counsel for contract interpretation while we handle the commercial leverage, benchmarks, and negotiation plan.

Before you sign, condense the commitment.
